Late fees applied after April 27th, 2019 This ride will be going through the Sutter Buttes, which is the smallest mountain range in the world! The Buttes formed about 1.5 million years ago by volcanic activity. The eruptions continued until 1.4 million years ago but, don’t worry no volcanoes will be going off while you’re here. They tower 2000 feet above the farms and fields of the valley floor and the Sutter Buttes present a striking visual contrast with the surrounding agricultural fields. It is home to many wildflowers as well as many species of birds and four legged animals.
